2014 is shaping up to be an epic year for EDM festivals. Not only is Tomorrow Land celebrating its 10th anniversary but the festival is two weekends this year! If that wasn’t enough there is almost an electronic dance music festival every weekend of the year with over 60 festivals and counting.

The year kicks off in Montreal with the annual Igloofest which takes place for 4 weekends this year. Than were off to Florida for Miami Music Week and Ultra Music Festival in March which opens the flood gates to the summer and all the other major festivals.

May is another big month as we get the first ever Electric Zoo Festival in Mexico which comes right after EDC Mexico in March. The expansions continue as Movement Electronic Music Festival in Detroit looks to make an impact as the premier techno and underground festival but that’s not to be confused with the return of DEMF aka Detroit Electronic Music Festival which could be the only Free EDM festival all year during 4th of July weekend.

If that wasn’t enough we have the annual super bowl of EDM festivals with EDC Las Vegas happening in June. June is another big month for festivals as many Canadian cities host festivals at the end of the month of Canada Day on July 1st. Back for its 4th year, Electric Forest looks to expand on its uniqueness versus other festivals at the end of the month.

EDC London is back for its second year in July as it leads up to 2 mega weekends of Tomorrow Land to cap off the summer. In the Fall, Tomorrow World is back for its second year in the Atlanta area as it looks to make an even bigger impact compared to 2013.

To close off 2014, many more festivals are held in December in warmer clients which makes them great candidates for a quick getaway during the holidays and for new years eve parties.
