These friends of ours are the future of four on the floor, pulling late nights and putting in endless hours to make their dreams come true.

First up, the dynamic pairing of PR!CE x ONE&TWO readies the comp with their party-starting heater, “Gotta Get It,” followed by a smooth, steady groove, “Nah No,” from self-proclaimed “professional button pusher” Andrew Lux. The bassline-driven sounds of unapologetic artist AK Renny build the “Tension” before dropping into Kacper Kawala’s bass-heavy yet club-oriented anthem, “Enemies,” and last but not least, Newsboy’s thumping “Wonderland” brings us to the finish line.

For three years running, Nightenjin’s Pit Crew series has showcased a variety of upcoming producers including Lizzy Jane, Flozone, Indvstry, KillWill, Galo, Bush League, Achilles, Adame, PVRTY HVRD, Pretence, and matphilly. Revisit previous complications here and here.

Bass trap producer Kayten is back in a big way with her newest track “Run.” Announced October 18 and set for release via all platforms on Nightenjin Records October 27, this will be Kayten’s first single with the streetwear and music brand.

“Run” is emblematic of Kayten’s signature bad bitch trap sound. The single starts with an engaging bassline crescendo before making way for Kayten’s sultry vocals. The passion and emotion in her voice are clear and the powerful percussion in the drop is crushing. Kayten shines on this track, showcasing her production skills with captivating synth work and some sinister melodies.

“Run” ranks right up there with the best of Kayten’s body of work and will feature in her energetic live sets. Here’s what she said about the creative process:

“Sometimes when I take the pressure off of myself to make something for my own project it just pours out of me. I stayed up all night and created the entire main idea right then and there. I made it in a complete flow state. I can’t say I had any specific inspiration because of that, and that’s one of my favorite things about this song is that it’s just fun!”

The talented Italian producer NOTO brings his raw, bass-driven influences to Nightenjin for the first time. Set to release via all platforms on August 18, 2021, NOTO teams up with Swedish lyricist Bud Stankz for the single “Energy.” From the start of the song, ominous synths make room for Bud Stankz’s energetic and angry vocals, which lead into an action-packed drop of epic proportions. Interestingly, NOTO used all original sound designs as no copyrighted samples were used on this 128bpm bass tune.

NOTO shared that “my intention was to make something different than a four-on-the-floor track, so I’ve mixed my trap [and] garage influences in it.” He continued, “I had this track in the works for a while, the instrumental was ready but it was missing a vocal to express better what I had in mind for it. I got in touch with Bud Stankz who loved the instrumental and he nailed the vibe I wanted to go for.”

Bud Stankz offered up this description: “The track is about reaching your full potential and is supposed to be motivating.” For anyone looking for a song to get your juices flowing, “Energy” is coming soon to serve those in need.

Adame is back on Nightenjin this February 24th to bring a new 2-track record, Chain Reaction. The Germany-based beatmaker isn’t a stranger to the label and was even featured on our Pit Crew V2 Compilation back in December, and we’re so glad to have him back for these two new fire tracks.

Chain Reaction is comprised of hard-hitting trap tunes “Catalyst” and “Bonkers.” Each of the songs brings something new to the genre, “Catalyst” starts off the record strong, experimenting with unique sound design and basslines to give new meaning to acid trap. “Bonkers” boasts more of a classic trap feel, filled with grimy 808s and dark drops you can’t help but throw your trap arms to. With all the gas Adame has been putting out, we’re hyped to have him on board at Nightenjin and see what he cooks up next.

2020 has been shitty, to say the least, but music always boosts our mood. That’s why we’re back with Pit Crew V2! For the second year in a row, we’re bringing you the best tunes from our favorites artists in every genre.

Going off of our motto, the compilation kicks things off to a strong start with the genre-defying “Rydrz.” Blending elements of techno, house, and bass, Achilles breaks the norms of an electronic track in the most masterful way.

Adame brings the heat next with “She Started Prayin.” This bass tune is full of hip-hop vocals and dirty drops, only for your booty bouncing to be brought to a halt with a melodic interlude. The switch-ups throughout the track will be sure to keep you on your toes.

You’ll be ready to party hard with our third track: PVRTY HVRD‘s bass house banger “Thang Low.” With bone-breaking four-on-the-floor beats and springy synths, this high-energy track will keep you dancing all night, even if it has to be in the comfort of your living room.

Keeping the dynamics high with another house track, it’s knives out with Pretence‘s “Blood Bath.” Jam-packed with beastly growls and savage drops, you’ll be ready to throw hands and catch bodies once you press play.

Ending things on a high note, we have arguably the most versatile track of the bunch. Despite its title, “this track is thiccer than pokimane,” it isn’t a parody song about twitch streamers. matphilly mixes jungle beats, wave, and dubstep effortlessly, bringing this compilation to a comprehensive close.
